Nova is a demi-human of noble lineage, descended from a watered down line of feline demi-humans related to the Hakuko. Her standing doesn't mean much considering the state of the Hakuko's post-war influence in Siltvelt. She specializes in water and healing magic, and made a deal with the Queen of Melromarc to periodically offer her services as a Shadow (and as an occasional healer in the palace) in order to bolster her training and expand her network for gaining intel. They met at a diplomatic conference and Nova was quite surprised and impressed that the queen was so amiable to her despite her background.She meets the Shield Hero after his battle to dismantle the Church of the Three Heroes, acting as a healer in the Melromarc palace at the time. She already knew a bit about him from the combination of rumors and any information/experiences Princess Melty felt compelled to share with her before his arrival. Alongside the tales and teachings she grew up with as a citizen of Siltvelt, where the Shield Hero has always been held in incredibly high esteem, she does her best to remain neutral and aloof towards he and his party both out of professionalism and in an effort to suppress her own starstruck enthusiasm.______________Some people ship with only one character, some ship with multiple characters in different verses or AUs, and some ship with multiple characters in a poly relationship.There are as many types of selfships, selfship relationships, and selfshippers as there are real life people and relationships. Just because it’s fictional doesn’t make it any less important or meaningful to the individuals involved.
